Caesars Cup Airs Sunday

The Caesars Cup, which features a poker competition between Team America and Team Europe, airs this Sunday, 11:00 p.m. on ESPN2. America’s team is made up of some of the game’s top players. It includes Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey and Doyle Brunson. Negreanu is the captain of Team Americas. Annette Obrestad will captain Team Europe. For her team, she has chosen Patrik Antonius, Peter Eastgate and Bertrand Grospellier.

The format is doubles. Each game will have two players and they will alternate bets playing preflop, the flop, the turn and the river. This will require working together to make important decisions. This will be quite interesting considering that both professional players will be used to playing their way, which has obviously been successful. The commentators for the event will be Normal Chad and Lon McEachern. Kara Scott will act as a sideline reporter.
