ComeOn! Partners Up With Liverpool Football Club

Scandinavian online gaming operator ComeOn! have announced a two-year sponsorship agreement with Premier League giants Liverpool Football Club.

The Reds already have 188Bet as their official gaming provider, but their latest deal is designed to provide ComeOn! with an exclusive opportunity to advertise the link up with Liverpool across different platforms in the countries of Norway, Sweden and Finland.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming ComeOn! to what we believe is the world’s greatest football family,” said Billy Hogan, chief commercial officer at Liverpool.

The sponsorship deal with the Anfield outfit, which is due to expire at the end of the 2015/2016 season, should see the Nordic operator further improve their profile in Scandinavia due to the fact that LFC have a large following in the said countries.

This probably has something to do with the fact that the likes of Sami Hyypia and John Arne Riise have enjoyed long and successful careers with the Reds, and it is believed that the club are now even more popular than most domestic clubs.

ComeOn! representatives were delighted with the deal as the exclusive rights on advertising Liverpool Football Club in Norway, Sweden and Finland will give the company an upper hand over its competitors.

“Not only will fans see exciting activations focused on Liverpool FC but they will also enjoy tickets to games at the famous Anfield stadium,” Paul Myklebust, Norwegian spokesman of ComeOn! said.

Following several very difficult years for the club, Liverpool were able to show considerable improvement last season, having finished the league campaign mere two points behind champions Manchester City.

The Reds aim to finally end the long trophy drought in the upcoming season and have already recruited the likes of Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Emre Can and Lazar Markovic, albeit cashing in on controversial striker Luis Suarez.

Liverpool FC remain one of world’s most successful clubs, having won 18 league titles as well as five European Champions Cup trophies, but they have been without a league trophy since 1990.
