Leron Washington Wins WPT LA Poker Classic Celebrity Tournament
The World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic came to an end Wednesday, March 3rd and a winner was finally declared. LeRon Washington was the eventual winner. More then 500 individuals, many celebrities, participated. This event which combined both fun and charity turned out to be a big hit. After all of the dust settled, only LeRon Washington remained. He won $100,000, a coveted WPT bracelet and a WPT Championship buy-in at the Bellagio.
The last round between Washington and Sean Urban lasted for two hours. Making it to the final table were Steve Elliot, Thor Hansen, Neev Baram, Trishelle Cannatella, Washington and Urban. Elliot finished in sixth place, Hansen in fifth, Baram in fourth and Trishelle in third. Trishelle continued here excellent play which very recently helped her ink a sponsorship deal with Absolute Poker. Overall, the tournament was a huge success with a ton of money being raised for a good cause.
