Microgaming Announce New Releases for 2016
- January 12, 2016 By Nemanja L. -
Leading software provider for the online gaming industry, Microgaming has announced ambitious plans for the New Year, as they have released new titles across various channels.
Lucky Twins and Peek-a-Boo have been added to their impressive video slots library, whereas Untamed Wild Panda launched on mobile.
But, it is the release of Multi-play Mermaids Millions that is expected to generate the most attention, as this appears to be the company’s initial foray into the social gaming market.
All four games were rolled out on Microgaming Quickfire software on 6 January 2016, making sure the software developer enjoyed a strong start to the new year.
Lucky Twins Slot
Chances are not too many gamers will be impressed with the Lucky Twins slot game, which resembles Gung Pow and Lucky Firecracker, two virtually identical games that had been released in February 2015.
The storyline and visuals are quite similar to the two aforementioned titles, although Lucky Twins is played at nine paylines and does have several new icons added to the game screen.
Peek-a-Boo slot features five reels and 1,024 winning ways, where ghosts and candies take the centre stage, and cartoon-style graphics make for a relaxing gaming experience.
The game does contain several interesting features as you get to zap the ghosts to fill the bonus meter and trigger the Free Spins round, with colourful game icons and interesting sound effects adding to the appeal.
Untamed Wild Panda Mobile Slot
Part of Microgaming’s Untamed collection of video slots, Untamed Wild Panda has now made its way to tablet and smartphone screens, and the first signs suggest the transition to mobile has been seamless.
Collect a Wild, Lucky Nudge and Free Spins will all come in handy, just like the innovative Gamble feature that allows mobile gamers an extra control over the outcome.
Multi-Play Mermaids Millions
The revamped Mermaids Millions slot sees online gaming meets social gaming as six players are allowed to enter a game room where each of them will play the Microgaming title, while at the same time chatting with fellow gamers and sharing the bonus action.
