Online Gambling Censored In Israel

It looks like Israel is looking to crack down on online gambling. There appears to be a plan in the works that will make it impossible for citizens of Israel to access online gambling websites. Internet Service Providers have reportedly been asked to not make these websites available to Israeli citizens according to Ha’aretz newspaper.  

Exceptions to this campaign to make online gambling websites impossible to access are some sports wagering websites and the government organized lottery.  According to Major General Bentzi Sau, “It is my intention to order your company not to provide users with access to these sites.” Sau is the Central District police commander who has been given the task to order blocks on the aforementioned websites.
