Poker Tournament Robbed By Heavily Armed Gunmen

In Germany, robbers burst into a Berlin Grand Hyatt and demanded the jackpot monies from a tournament being held there. There were four robbers, all of them heavily armed.

The thieves carried machetes, automatic weapons and even grenades into the hotel. They confronted the staff and demanded they hand over the money. The employees quickly complied.

The robberies made off with the money and the police have yet to apprehend them. They have also refused to release many details, including how much money was stolen.  However, according to one website, the jackpot was worth $1 million.
