According to letters that the famous author Harper Lee wrote, the casino Taj Mahal that is located in Atlantic City and once owned by Donald Trump is comparable to hell on earth. Harper Lee put down the mogul’s pretentious casino and resort in one of her twenty nine signed letters that is now up for auction this week at a location in Los Angeles.
The late “To Kill a Mockingbird” famous author Harper Lee had apparently had been just entertaining visitors that were from out – of – town who at the end of the day took her down to the Jersey Shore where she spent an amount time at the then-brand new Trump Casino and Resort located in Atlantic City.
Harper Lee stated that “The worst punishment God can devise for this sinner is to make her spirit reside eternally at the Trump Taj Mahal located in Atlantic City,” in a letter that she wrote on August 25th of the year 1990 as she was sitting at her East 82nd Street home which was located in New York City to one of her closest, dearest and longtime friends Doris Leapard who lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
This letter was ultimately written the same exact year that Donald Trump opened his one billion dollar casino and resort located in Atlantic City, which in due course was taken over by the billionaire Carl Icahn this past February after Donald Trump Entertainment Resorts finally emerged from a bankruptcy.
This move ultimately eliminated the remaining ten percent stake that the GOP frontrunner had in this casino and resort located in Atlantic City, which by the way still bears his name.
