Yggdrasil Gaming Enters UK Online Casino Market
- April 5, 2016 By Nemanja L. -
Swedish software provider Yggdrasil Gaming has launched its services in the United Kingdom, mere three months after being awarded the UK gaming licence.
The up-and-coming gaming company was issued a licence by the UK Gambling Commission in December 2015 and they wasted no time in an attempt to offer their premium titles to UK residents.
Running on in-house iSENSE 2.0 platform, Yggdrasil games are now available to players from the United Kingdom, who will be able to enjoy their best titles across seven high-profile online casinos for starters.
The Swedish game supplier has so far signed deals with Mr Green, Unibet, ComeOn!, Vera&John, LeoVegas and Betsson, and the latest reports suggest that more reputable gaming establishments will follow suit.
About Yggdrasil Gaming
Yggdrasil Gaming has been making giant strides in a highly competitive online gaming industry since they the company was founded by former Net Entertainment chief Fredrik Elmqvist back in 2013.
Operating out of Malta and with a key development office in Krakow, Poland, the Swedish operator has already made their presence known, having been voted the Software Rising Star at the 2015 EGR B2B Awards and iGaming Software Supplier of the Year at the 2016 International Gaming Awards.
Their iSENSE 2.0 HTML5 framework allows operators to launch their latest games simultaneously on desktop and mobile, thus increasing its appeal among the online gaming community.
Being in its infant years, Yggdrasil’s game library is still not as comprehensive as those of established software developers, but their slot games have become extremely popular among casino players.
