Greektown Casino Hotel to Be Renamed
- February 24, 2016 By Samantha A. -
When it comes to renaming a casino, you may or may not be surprised by the number of names that pop up, and by which ones are actually considered. When it comes to the Greektown Casino Hotel, a new name came up, and this name is by far one of those that you’re going to remember for some time to come.
Jack is Now the New Face of the Casino Hotel
“Jack” is what Greektown Casino Hotel is going to be renamed, and in the new year, they are celebrating new things. The new name was given from a Rock Ventures employee, that considered a lot of the outside marketing that was going on surrounding the hotel, and felt like this new name could bring some life back into the casino hotel, and maybe he is right. It is a simple, easy to sound out, spell and remember name that will hopefully have customers coming back for more.
This new name is part of a $40 million venture that has many casinos rethinking their branding ideas. Through the new name change, the entire venture is going to be called Jack Entertainment, LLC. Jack is also thought of as that friend that got you “to do things you never would do.” Through this rebranding, new commercials and sales pitches are coming out everywhere, to show off the new name, and the new casino that is looking for more customers than ever.
Many are wondering, “why the new change?” and this is simple. Greektown is thought of as an old, outdated and worn down name, and building. With the new name, the single word that people can easily say, they can think of the casino hotel as a whole new image, a new brand and a new, hot place to go when they want to spend some time getting into trouble at the tables, and perhaps walking away with some cash in hand.
The rebranding is starting March 9, and don’t forget to check out the clip for their new commercial that features “Jack” and all that comes with the casino hotel. It is a change you’re not going to want to miss out on!
