Jungle Jim, Microgaming’s Most Iconic Slots Character, to Embark on a New Desert Adventure

If you’re a slots enthusiast, you must know the name Jungle Jim. This is a character Microgaming invented three years ago who is today deemed as one of the most iconic characters. Thanks to Jungle Jim: El Dorado slot released in 2016 that received a lot of attention by slots players, this young man is about to make a comeback to the reels, embarking on a new adventure in the deserts of Sahara, looking for the Lost Sphinx.

Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx is the newest slot release by Microgaming, which will exclusively be presented for the first time at the popular iGaming exhibition in Amsterdam, iGB Live!. Microgaming will be at the Stand R13 today and tomorrow, showcasing this spectacular game and so much more!

We first met Jungle Jim while he was exploring the lost City of Gold, El Dorado. The young adventurer went deep into the heart of the Amazonian jungles in search of gold. Jungle Jim had the aid of Multiplier Trails, Scatters, Wilds and Free Spins to lead your way to the greatest treasures in the scary jungle, covered in never-ending green, giant leaves.

And, even though Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx will take centre stage at the iGB Live! In Amsterdam on the 17^th and the 18^th of July, this incredible slot actually takes place in the hot, endless deserts of Sahara, where the precious sphinxes can be found.

Across its 5 reels, the slot offers players 50 paylines to place their bets on and help the explorer uncover the mysteries of Egypt throughout the action-packed gameplay. Microgaming’s Chief Commercial Officer Jean-Luc Ferriere said that given the popularity and success Jungle Jim El Dorado showed, everyone at Microgaming was really looking forward to hinting the iconic Jungle Jim’s next adventure on the 17^th and 18^th of July.

The sequel, Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx, included entertaining and rewarding mechanics, outstanding artwork and the already-popular Rolling Reels™ feature. This feature, if you remember, was also present in the prequel, meaning the gameplay must be similar yet probably enhanced with other cool features and improved.

Praising Stormcraft Studios about their work in the design of the new slot, Ferriere said that the studio has set a new benchmark in visual storytelling in the iGaming industry, and with that, he finished his statement, leaving all of us hanging and waiting impatiently for more information and a chance to try the slot.
