Lucky Links Combines Traditional and Modern In One Exciting Slot
- November 24, 2017 By Riley Wilson -
The Isle of Man-based casino games company Microgaming has a new video slot on offer, a thrilling five-reel game with 20 paylines, which hit the market on November 15.
Titled Lucky Links, the new release is created in collaboration with the Swedish game development studio Just For The Win (JFTW), bringing a combination of traditional style and modern features, offering plenty of chances to grab rewarding prizes.
Paying Both Ways
The game pays both ways, from left to right and from right to left, which doubles the chance of ending a spin with a win. The betting starts as low as $0.10 while the maximum bet can’t exceed $250 per spin.
Visually, the game resembles a Las Vegas casino light show, with a luck feel to it. Symbols on the reels include a usual array of brightly colored playing card suits, while those paying out the most feature luck-themed symbols such as four-leaf clovers, horseshoes, acorns and triple sevens.
The symbol you’ll definitely want to see more of is the Lucky Links symbol, which awards the prize worth 7.5 times the triggering wager when five of a kind land on the reels.
Symbols can appear stacked on the reels, which will make it a lot easier to get a win.
The Lucky Link feature is triggered when stacks of linking symbols line up horizontally, staying locked together as other reel positions spin for free. The respins will continue if more linking symbols find their place on the reels.
Lucky Links is a low variance title, which means you’ll often receive payouts, though they may not be as high as you would hope. However, the game does offer wins of up to 352 times your wager on each spin which isn’t so bad.
Commenting on its latest addition, David Reynolds, Games Publisher at Microgaming said Lucky Links was a striking game delivering a win both way experience. Reynolds added the game brought the casino environment to players, combining stunning visuals with stacked symbols, respins and Linking Reels that would ensure players were entertained.
