Microgaming Set To Launch The New Playboy Slot

Isle of Man-based software development company Microgaming has announced the latest addition to its vast portfolio of video slot games, which is scheduled to hit the market in March.

Titled Playboy Gold, the upcoming release represents the result of close cooperation between the gaming giant and the famous men’s magazine established in Chicago in 1953 by Hugh Hefner.

Today, Playboy is one the best-known brands in the world, present in almost every medium, and publishing its flagship magazine in a number of different versions around the globe.

A Fresh Addition to Playboy-themed Content

The game will join other Playboy-branded products such as the original Playboy online slot, which went live five years ago, as well as the first ever Live Dealer studio that got branded – Playboy Live Dealer.

This online slot was developed by Triple Edge Studios, an independent game studio that provides exclusive content to Microgaming, and will offer a new six-reel layout, with lots of feature for a thrilling and appealing gaming experience.

Playboy Gold will be officially revealed at this year’s ICE, which will be held in London in February, but won’t go live until March 7, 2018.

Commenting on the upcoming release, Valerie Golson, Playboy’s Senior Vice President of Gaming and Location Based Entertainment said gaming had been one of the iconic parts of the Playboy lifestyle for decades and added the brand’s unique and exciting take on the world of gaming had been one of the most successful in the industry.

She stated the company was thrilled to be working with Microgaming on expanding the partnership of the two sides and introducing a new gaming experience for players around the world.

David Reynolds, Games Publisher at Microgaming said it had been a real pleasure to work with Playboy again. He stated the game would offer non-stop action and added that everyone at Microgaming and Triple Edge Studios were excited about the game’s launch.

ICE Totally Gaming, the industry’s biggest trade show will be held at ExCeL London from February 6-8.
