Narcos by Netflix to Get Its Own NetEnt Slot

NetEnt makes two more casino gamers millionaires

NetEnt’s Narcos-themed slot to hit online casinos in early 2019.

NetEnt fans will soon be treated by an exclusive Narcos-themed video slot. This series is one of Netflix’ most popular TV shows and has millions of viewers worldwide. According to the provider, the brand-new video slot is supposed to hit casinos early 2019.

In addition to the unforgettable Narcos teaser by NetEnt, the industry was also amused by the partnership between BetSoft and iSoftBet. Namely, once everything is settled, iSoftBet consumers will be able to play a range of BetSoft games via the iSoftBet Game Aggregation Platform.

All these partnerships and news come only days after Tom Watson, UK Labour Party deputy leader, has called for a ban on sponsorship and advertising in gambling. According to Watson, problem gambling in the United Kingdom was a “national emergency” that must be immediately treated.

Furthermore, he said that gambling operators should pay additional 1% of GGR levy for the treatment of problem gamblers. This, he explained, would mean that gambling businesses take responsibility for the harm they cause with their products.

Netflix’ Narcos Coming to NetEnt Casinos Early Next Year

NetEnt has launched a teaser revealing that fans will soon be able to play a Netflix themed video slot. Namely, the company has signed a license agreement with Gaumont Studios a few months back; thus, the paved for developing a Narcos-themed video slot has been paved.

Those unfamiliar with the popular TV series should know that it is based on true stories of various Colombian drug cartels; the first two seasons focused on infamouse Pablo Escobar, while the third season focused on the Cali Cartel.

According to Netflix, the show was watched by 27.2 million people during the first week of the third season. Fourth season of Narcos is expected to be released in November.

In addition to the Narcos video slot, which is widely expected by fans, NetEnt has another TV series themed game in stock too. In November, consumers will be able to try the long-awaited Vikings slot, based on the mega popular TV show.

iSoftBet to Feature a Range of BetSoft Games

It seems that BetSoft doesn’t plan to put its expansion on hold. The popular casino game provider has signed numerous content supply agreements this year. Thus, following the partnerships with Casino Superlines, the provider has now partnered with iSoftBet as well.

The agreement was announced very recently by iSoftBet’s commercial director Michael Probert. He expressed excitement that the company’s Game Aggregation Platform would now feature top-class BetSoft titles such as Sugar Pop, Dragon Kings and Stampede. The games are going to support both desktop and mobile play.

On behalf on BetSoft commented Annamaria Anastasi, head of marketing. She highlighted how this partnership opened up new doors for the provider as they continue their worldwide expansion. Just like she concluded, the step made perfect sense considering that BetSoft has very recently received Romanian gaming license, plus has noted a steady growth in Italy too.
