NetEnt’s Challenge Goes Big Online, Boosts Job Applications

Sweden-based NetEnt is not only one of the leaders when it comes to providing high-quality gaming content, but is also at the forefront when it comes to interacting with its customers and fans on social media.
Their latest employer branding campaign – the Challenge – has become a huge success. The campaign, designed to further consolidate NetEnt reputation, has proven to be a hit in promoting the brand.
The reality TV-style episodes, aired online, have been viewed 1.4 million times since they were published back in May. During the same period, the number of job applications soared up by 86%, while the traffic to the company’s website netent.com recorded a staggering increase of 325%!
Bringing All Employees Together
Over 900 employees participated in the Challenge, while four of them had an arduous task of climbing European Alps, with support from their co-workers.
The idea behind the tasks, given to the staff, was to bond all those working for NetEnt and to strengthen the company’s policy. The company used its vast experience in the gaming business to carry out the branding campaign successfully.
NetEnt Chief Executive Officer, Per Eriksson, said the company was always looking to stay one step ahead. He added NetEnt strived to be the leader in the sector, while taking innovative approach to all its activities, including recruitment and engagement from the employees.
Eriksson stated the Challenge was a project that everyone at the company could be proud of.
The project highlighted the fun aspect of working for such an ambitious company, but also focused on the challenges the employees face every day. According to Eriksson, this has given prospective candidates a chance to what goes on behind the scenes.
He said the success of the project showed that NetEnt employees are never afraid to give their maximum, and commended the dedication of all the participants.
