Pragmatic Play to Launch the Peaky Blinders Slot Later This Year

The leading content developer Pragmatic Play has just announced the signing of an important partnership agreement with Endemol Shine Gaming.

Under the provisions of the new deal with the daughter-company of Endemol Shine Group, the renowned gaming company will gain rights for the hit TV show Peaky Blinders.

The Popular Show Is Coming to the Reels

Thanks to the new 5-year deal, Pragmatic Play will be able to create content based on the popular series, including video slot games, live casino, virtual sports as well as instant win scratch cards. Speaking about this move, Director of Games & Gambling at Endemol Shine Group, Anil Minstry said it was a pleasure to work with such a respectable name to create new content based on the Peaky Blinders. He also added his company was thrilled by the potential the new partnership offered.

Pragmatic Play’s Chief Commercial Officer Melissa Summerfield explained that launching a title like Peaky Blinders would draw a significant number of new players, considering the popularity of this TV show. She went on to say that this would be yet another successful addition to Pragmatic Play’s offering of games and pointed out it would live up to the big expectations.

Looking Forward to the New Launch

Whether the two sides plan to include other Endemol Shine Group into this agreement into the latest agreement remains unclear. Other content whose rights are owned by this company includes Black Mirror, Simon’s Cat, Mr Bean, Hunted, MasterChef, Tenable, Wipeout, and Pointless.

Peaky Blinders is distributed across the world – in more than 180 countries – by Endemol Shine International.

Aired on BBC and Netflix, and starring such names as Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson and Helen McCrory, the show has so far scooped several important industry awards, including 2018 BAFTA for Best Drama Series and Best Drama at the 2019 National Television Awards.
