Yggdrasil Inks a New Deal with Tipsport, Enters the Czech Market

The Malta-based developer of online games Yggdrasil Gaming has announced the signing of an important new deal.

The company has partnered with Tipsport, one of leading names in the sports betting market in the Czech Republic, which has been regulated for almost two years, following the adoption of the current Gambling Act on January 1, 2017.

Bringing Its Games to New Customers

Under the provisions of the new agreement, Yggdrasil will enter the Czech regulated online market and offer its extensive portfolio of high-quality games to customers in this Eastern European country.

Since Tipsport is a familiar name not only in the Czech Republic but also in the neighbouring countries, Yggdrasil will have no problem in promoting its casino content and attracting new players.

According to available information, the new deal between the two sides will offer players new games, tournaments, cash races and mission, which will be available online via BOOST, the Yggdrasil’s set of in-game promotional tools.

The list of games which will be made available to customers in the Czech Republic includes such popular hits as Vikings Go to Hell and Tut’s Twister.

Great Potential for Success

Experts say the Czech market, which took home around €1.6 billion in 2017, has a lot of potential. Nearly 25% of the revenue was earned by online gambling, which should improve its results during 2018.

Yggdrasil Gaming has a significant footprint in Europe, offering its games to customers in the United Kingdom, Italy, Estonia, Latvia, Belgium, and Denmark. After the Czech Republic, its games should become available to players in Spain, thanks to a deal signed earlier this year.

Commenting on the new deal, Yggdrasil Gaming’s Chief Executive Officer Fredrik Elmqvist said the company was committed to expanding its regulated market footprint and added everyone was excited to be going live with Tipsport and fostering a long-term partnership.
