Canadian Online Gambling Website Crashes

Playnow.com, a website which services Canadian gamblers, crashed only hours after going public.  The crash came after too many individuals attempted to log onto the website at once. 

For many gamblers, Playnow.com is one of the few regulated online casinos where they can play. Individuals can rest assured that their money is safe and because of this, the demand for playing there is quite high.  

Playnow.com was only up for a few hours before it crashed. Lottery officials were, thus, forced to pull the plug on the site. It was necessary to locate and install additional servers and hardware in order to support the demand. “I cannot wait until the site is up and running again because I have been waiting a long time to play casino games on my computer,” said Shelley Simon. “It is nice to know there is a place where rules are going to be followed and my money is safe.”
