Shannon Elizabeth Joins Carbon Poker

Pretty actress Shannon Elizabeth has just become the newest face of Carbon Poker, well at least one of them. She recently signed on with the online website and reportedly both parties are thrilled. “We’ve been on the hunt for a face for our brand who is a recognized star and also a respected member of the poker community. Shannon easily meets both criteria and offers a creative edge that we’re thrilled to have on board. We’re launching several promotions that will involve players playing against Shannon and getting to know her both inside and outside of poker.”

For those of you shocked about this recent poker “marriage” don’t be, at least not completely. Elizabeth is actually a pretty good player and I’m sure her looks factored into Carbon Poker’s execs asking her to come on board.  As far as her performance on the felts, Shannon finished 4^th in the 2007 National Heads Up Poker Championship. She has also cashed 3 times. Ok, we never said her resume was stacked. We admit, it’s just about razor thin but hopefully, she’ll find a way to live up to her contract.
