Australian singer Iggy Azalea has moved to reveal that she frequently visits land-based casinos, citing blackjack as her favourite game.
The 24-year-old attended the Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, where she performed “Pretty Girls” with Britney Spears.
While attending the event, Azalea was interviewed by Extra presenter Renee Bargh and made an interesting confession about her gambling exploits.
Played Blackjack for 12 Hours Straight
The Australian rapper took advantage of her trip to Las Vegas to treat herself to a night in a casino, spending almost 12 hours playing her favourite game of Blackjack.
“I just like to play blackjack, I played blackjack for twelve hours straight yesterday. I changed clothes in the bathrooms. I’m awful,” Azalea said.
The singer made sure the time spent in the casino was worthwhile, having managed to turn a profit before finally leaving the establishment.
“I wouldn’t leave, I refuse to lose, that’s my motto,” she added before being asked if she had won some money in the process. “I did, I did! I came up very on top.”
Azalea’s boyfriend Nick Young accompanied the world-famous star at the event, while he admitted his girlfriend needed some persuasion to leave the blackjack table.
The Australian singer-songwriter won three awards at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, for Top Rap Song, Top Streaming Artist and Top Rap Artist.
Hollywood actor and former Friends star Matthew Perry was recently pictured attending an LA casino in the early hours of the morning, reportedly losing $20,000 while playing three card poker.
Ben Affleck is another famous actor who is a big fan of casinos, and he was even banned from certain establishments for counting cards at Blackjack tables.
