Playtech Enhances Its BetTracker App with a New Build-A-Bet Feature

Playtech’s BetTracker app gets a new Build-A-Bet feature. The leading supplier of SSBTs (Self-Service Betting Terminals) has updated the app with the integration of the new feature in order to make it more convenient for players to compile and save bets into a betting slip on their mobile device to later place them at the terminal via a unique QR code.

BetTracker is an app developed by Playtech that allows retail customers to bet on SSBTs, track the progress of their bets on their devices away from a shop and cash out on live action. Playtech’s UK, Ireland, Australia and Asia Managing Director, John Pettit says that this app is helping to change the retail betting’s face and it already has a lot of followers. This “anytime, anywhere”tool will help both small and big retail operators boost customers’ loyalty and engagement.

The app was updated in June 2018 with the MatchAcca feature, which players found handy for the duration of the World Cup. The integration of the new Build-A-Bet feature will enable customers to place bets whenever and wherever is convenient to them, and will specifically entice those who want to combine mobile with physical retail experience.

The new feature was added to provide a much more efficient and quicker bet placement, enabling less bet processing time than at the terminal and more transactions.

Operators can add their own marketing and branding within the BetTracker app, as well, and can integrate the Build-A-Bet feature into their own app.

The BetTracker app was presented by Playtech almost 2 years ago and is available across both Android and iPhone devices. So far, it has shown astounding growth and increase in bet transactions each week. With the new feature, it is expected to show an even greater success.

Players will now be able to save and compile their bet selections on their mobile devices, into a betting slip, and later on, place them at the terminal using the unique QR code. So far, they were able to place bets on SSBTs but track their bet progress on their phones and tablets away from the shop.
