Atlantis Queen Slots - Playtech
ABOUT ATLANTIS QUEEN
Is there a better theme for a slot than a tale of a lost city filled to the brim of super-valuable history and ancient technology that would bring fame and fortune to the person who discovered it? Playtech certainly seemed to agree with us when they made their newest online slot, a 5 reel, 25 payline game set in said city.
Filled with fishes, golden chests and coins, the slot fills out it’s underwater theme, and adds a few icons to flesh it out even further. The Mermaid icon acts as Wild, while the old Atlantis temple works as Scatter. And finally, you have Poseidon himself, God of the Sea, as the highest paying symbol in the game.
HOW TO PLAY
Your choices here are relatively simple. You adjust how many active paylines you want, from just 1 all the way to the game’s full 25, and adjust the value of your coin, from $0.01 to $50, rounding up your max bet at $1,250. The slot also allows you to click on the numbers on the side of the screen to adjust active paylines, rather than making you click the button over and over.
The slot features an autospin function, which is adjustable to work for 10 all the way to 99 spins, or until you unlock one of the game’s bonus features – the Pearl bonus and the Atlantis Temple bonus, triggered by the slot’s Wilds and Scatters, respectively.
The slot offers you a choice of two specials that make the game more exciting each time they come up. Getting these in the right time will make your haul all the more impressive, so try to grab them on the way!
If you land three Mermaid icons in a row in the reels 2, 3 and 4, the game will switch you to a different screen which will show you 9 randomly picked oysters. Within these oysters, you’ll find gold, silver or bronze pearls, each with different value. Once you open all of them, their values add up and are pocketed as a win in your pocket. Not terribly exciting, but not a bad thing to get, either.
Atlantis Temple Bonus bonus brings free spins, but then tops itself by adding additional bonuses on top of those. If you get three temple icons, which act as the slot’s Scatter, you’re given a small mini-game in which you get to see how many free spins, multiplier increase, an extra scatter and an extra wild you get.
You start at the bottom of the pillar, and the game will tell you what to do next – whether it’s to collect the prize, pick another prize in the same row, or move up one row. One you’re told to collect what you’ve won, the free spins round ends.
As expected, Poseidon God of the Sea acts as the game’s highest paying icon, awarding 5,000 credits per line, or up to 125,000 coins if you are so lucky as to get the symbol to cover every single position on the game screen, which does sound like mission impossible.
ATLANTIS QUEEN ON MOBILE
The game is available on mobile devices, and apart from a slightly adjusted interface, there is little you can say about it that really differs from the desktop version. It does have a handy setting which allows you to switch the spin button from right to left if you’re left handed, which we felt was worth mentioning.
Atlantis Queen feels just as smooth on mobile as it does on desktop, and if you prefer spinning on your phone, you won’t be disappointed.
