The Primal Hunt game takes you on a chase for the elusive Cave Lion, which takes the form of the slot’s best symbols. Beyond that, though, the entire theme centres around the long-lost times of prehistory. That’s quite a lot for a 5-reel slot game, offering plenty of excitement. To win, symbols must be arranged left-to-right starting with the leftmost reel, which is fairly standard.
Bets range from £0.20 to £22. BetSoft have chosen to offer betting options in increments, which are different for each amount. We’re fairly certain this isn’t the best way of going about things. It limits your options to a few pre-set values, which may or may not suit you. Overall, we’d like a bit more control over the betting amounts.
Primal Hunt slots feature no less than 11 standard symbols. The highest-paying one is the afore-mentioned Cave Lion. However, be mindful not to confuse it with the Cave Lion Scatter. The Scatters have a blue border, which is usually an easy tell.
